Welcome to Gunk's Games

Wow, what a fantastic day this past Saturday at LSW Holiday Mart.  Thanks to everyone who came out to see us.  Our next event is at Shawnee Mission, Christkindl at Shawnee City Hall, 11110 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas.   It is a short show so be sure to come out early.  We are only there from 4:00 to 7:00. On a completely other subject, Gunk and I are dog people.  Well, actually we are animal people.  I have never seen Gunk drive past a turtle on the road that he doesn't stop and try to help.  Another thing I love to do is write.  So today I combined the two and wrote a little story about Zoey, a dog that graced us with her presence for just a bit.  Happy reading.  "Her Name Was Zoey."

Meet Gunk

You may be asking yourself, “Who or what is a Gunk?” I will tell you. Gunk is the name our second to the oldest granddaughter gave her grandpa. When trying to say Grandpa, it came out Gunk and the rest is history. Gunk spent over 30 years in education as a science teacher, and coach of soccer (his first love), basketball, and football. He was honored to coach his own children all the way through high school. Gunk is extremely detail oriented. That is why the games he hand-crafts are high quality and second to none.
